Shoppers took to the web today for Cyber Monday
Considering the chaos of shopping in person has become more and more of a hassle in recent years, and that there is always a sale somewhere on Amazon that’s hard to resist, most of us do at least a little bit of shopping on this high retail holiday. Some of the best-selling items were high-priced games and gadgets such as Beats by Dre headphones, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One gaming consoles, and Samsung 4k smart TVs.
Shoppers are expected to spend $3 billion today. Past year on Cyber Monday it was a record-breaking day for Amazon – 43 million items ordered.

The online rush Monday was enough to knock Target’s web site down for a short period Monday morning.
Too much shopping crashed Target’s website Monday. And they no longer wait for Monday to roll out Cyber Monday deals, either.
But with broadband more prevalent, online shopping is a year-round affair.
The National Retail Federation expects Cyber Monday shopping to be down slightly compared to previous year since more and more people are finding online deals on many other days during the holiday season. Adobe says it tracks 80 percent of all online transactions from the top 100 US retailers through its marketing cloud. All stores, online or brick and mortar alike have something for everyone. Slow service was also reported from payment processor PayPal Inc.
