Marco Rubio: 9/11 Was God’s Plan
“I’m willing to be wrong on this but the act as we amended it has monitoring, so if we need to do something different, obviously, Congress will”, he said.
“It’s fitting that Congressman Darrell Issa, who led the Republican effort to exploit the Benghazi attack for political gain, is endorsing Marco Rubio, who is leading the Republican effort to exploit the Paris attacks for political gain”, Walker said on Monday. He made two stops in New Hampshire on Monday and campaigned in South Carolina Tuesday morning.
“I will make you this guarantee right now: You will not cover the spread”, quipped Rubio.
If there were a terror attack on the United States under a President Rubio, would he tell Americans in that dark hour, “This is part of God’s broader plan for the universe”?
“When I’m president, the benefits will follow the veteran, not the veteran following the benefits”, he said.
The Alabama events are part of Rubio’s more public strategy to win the Republican nomination, with his visits to the early primary states as well as others that vote relatively early in the primary calendar, including Alabama, only recently picking up in intensity.
A video of the remarks was posted to Rubio’s campaign website. “The peace that you are left with is not the peace of ‘it’s going to all work out great.’ We are not promised that”, Rubio stated. “Where was God in Paris?”
“As the recent terrorist attacks in Paris have shown, now is the worst possible time to undermine the very tools that keep our people safe”, Rubio added. “It always challenges us to understand that God’s ways are not our ways”, Rubio argued. Five Republicans, including Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, who dropped out of the race, have raised more campaign cash in Alabama than the $35,000 Rubio took in from Alabamians as of the October fundraising deadline, according to Federal Election Commission records. “God’s ways are not our ways”.
“Both parties have contributed to American issues”, Rubio said.
