Brown was also due to perform at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on 12 December, Allphones Arena in Sydney on 14 December and Brisbane Entertainment Centre on 16 December, before a show in Auckland on 18 December.
Chris Brown has cancelled both his New Zealand and Australian concerts scheduled for later this month.
The promoters said Mr Brown wished to express his deepest gratitude to the fans for their support and looked forward to a successful tour in the near future.
According to Billboard, the government issued a warning to the singer back in September that he may be denied a visa because of his conviction of assaulting Rihanna.

New Zealand Immigration Minister Michael Woodhouse said Brown would need a “special direction” waiver to enter the country. The R&B singer has cancelled his tour of New Zealand and Australia.
Tainui spokesperson, Tukoroirangi Morgan spoke out about the matter, saying that if Chris Brown was to gain entrance into New Zealand, the marae would be the best place to confront him about his assault conviction.
