Apple may announce new Macbook Air at WWDC
The upcoming MacBook model is reported to have a slimmer design and will be launched in 13 and 15 inch sizes. The inactivity regarding the MacBook Air is also being seen as part of Apple’s efforts to push their iPad Pro even further, and that may indeed end up being the device that takes the place of the laptop should it be phased out.
In order to attain its slimmer build, the new MacBook Air will apparently feature fully redesigned internal components.
It’s being suggested that Apple might have plans to unveil these new MacBook Air systems at the 2016 edition of its Worldwide Developers Conference.
According to the Economic Daily News, which has a somewhat spotty track record with it comes to Apple rumors, the new MacBook Air family will be unveiled at WWDC 2016 next June.
Even if the laptop’s release date is kept hidden by Apple, some consumers uncover specs that seem highly likely to be found on the much-anticipated laptop.
Tech giant Apple is planning to unveil a new MacBook Air product line next year. Despite the nearly unmatched portability of the new MacBook, it still doesn’t come close to the MacBook Air, which straddles the very fine line between portability and performance, the latter of which is something the new MacBook still struggles a bit with. The new MacBook Air will be slimmer than its predecessors and have improved components.
However, we strongly hope that Apple does not follow the same approach as it did with its 12 inch MacBook.
According to Macworld, the new MacBook Air will be boasting its better graphics, faster flash storage and faster processors. The company could also stop making the 11-inch model as it recently released the 12.9-inch iPad Pro and it would now look to make laptops starting at 13-inch.
An updated MacBook Air design, in-line with the MacBook Pro, which would include a 15-inch display.
There have been a lot of great Apple releases this year. There will be a two versions, in 13-inches and 15-inches. Perhaps, in the future, we will at least see a MacBook Air that has a touchscreen – this could put Apple back in the game and give the Microsoft Surface devices a run for their money.
