Longoria has since split from Parker, but remained “very close friends” with Beckham.

“She’s an fantastic woman, an awesome mum, an unbelievable business woman and an incredible wife and she’s really amusing”, Eva said of her friend.

Earlier on in her United Kingdom trip, 40-year-old Eva was in Oxford, where she addressed members of the Oxford Union on her life in the spotlight.

Fashion designer Beckham looked elegant in a black strappy gown as she struck her famous pose alongside the Desperate Housewives actress – an honorary chairperson for the Gift Galas – who looked stunning as she worked a navy satin Victoria Beckham gown with a plunging neckline.

Naturally, one of her first stops in the capital was Victoria’s flagship store on Dover Street.

In the picture, the brunette beauty is seen wearing oversized sunglasses and her hair in a messy bun.

Piper picked up her award, and said: “For those of you who don’t know my story, seven years ago I was just a young, 20-something confident girl living in London”. “And so I put my glasses on”.

“For me, I’ve been on such a long journey and I’ve discovered that a negative mind will never ever give you a positive life”.

Eva joked about getting naked on stage on Monday evening as Victoria took over the auction and tried to flog the dress off her back from her own collection.

The London Gift Gala night is of six annual events held in different cities across the world to raise funds for the Foundation, which aims to help provide shelter, food, medical care and other essential needs to vulnerable groups, particularly women and children, in impoverished areas of the globe. The pair were reunited on the red carpet, with Eva showing off her curves in a midnight blue gown, while Victoria, 41, opted for her favourite colour black.

Eva and Posh have been BFFs for years and were joined in store by celebrity hair stylist Ken Paves.
