King’s Quest: Rubble Without a Cause launches December 16

Rubble Without a Cause is the second of five planned chapters in the re-imagining of the classic adventure game series.

Sierra has confirmed that the second chapter of King’s Quest is coming on December 16.

“King’s Quest: Chapter 2 – Rubble Without a Cause” is due out on the PS4, Xbox One, PS3, 360, and PC/Steam worldwide on December 16th. That said, for North America, the PS4 and PS3 versions will be available late afternoon on December 15. It takes place a long time after A Knight to Remember, the first chapter of King’s Quest, which focused on Graham as a knight in training. A band of goblins are holding the kingdom hostage, so it’s up to Graham to lead a daring rescue to prove himself as leader and free his people.

Chapter One, A Knight to Remember, is now free to PS Plus members.

King’s Quest is a collection of five different chapter releases, each focusing on an untold tale in Graham’s past.

A price for the next chapter wasn’t announced, but given that the first game in the series, A Knight to Remember, is $10 on Steam, it’s a good bet part two will go for the same.
