Bus-car accident in Southampton

Emergency workers on the scene of a crash involving a vehicle and school bus at Pemberton and Ridge Roads in Southampton Twp.

Police say 20 students from Lenape High School were on the bus. He said he did not know what type of school bus was involved. Nine people on the bus, eight students and one adult, suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Burlington County Central Communications said the accident was reported at 4:57 p.m.

No word on what caused the accident or how many students were on board the bus. The intersection is closed as police continue to investigate.
