Warriors outlast Jazz in tough win, move to 19-0

Stephen Curry scored 19 points then got plenty of help so he could take the fourth quarter off as the Golden State Warriors improved to 18-0 with a 120-101 win over Sacramento.

Blake Griffin scored 23 points, DeAndre Jordan had 18 with 24 rebounds, and the Clippers (10-8) overcame the third quarter loss of All-Star guard Chris Paul to a rib muscle strain to beat the visiting Trail Blazers for their third straight win.

The Jazz (8-8), who return to action Thursday at home against Orlando, have more positives than negatives to take away from this slugfest between a heavyweight and an up-and-coming contender. Golden State makes opponents pay for turning the ball over, ranking third in points off turnovers with an average of 19.4 per game.
