Black pastors from Richmond meet with Donald Trump
Asked if he had given a financial contribution to any of the churches, Trump responded, ” No, I haven’t.
Republican 2016 front runner Donald Trump held a meeting with about 100 black pastors in New York Monday, (November 30) and while he didn’t receive a blanket endorsement from everyone, Trump appeared confident about those who did come forward in support. “Donald Trump does not represent what our community needs or what America needs”. Rather than condemn the violence, the real estate mogul said that perhaps the person “should have been roughed up”.
In fact, Darrell said the gathering was “very productive” and constructive!
“The lovely thing about the meeting is that they didn’t really ask me to change the tone”, Trump said.
Trump predicted the television pundits will call him “chicken” if he carries out his threat, but he attached little value to the opinions of the “talking heads, who are not smart people at all”.
Due to the interest in the debate, Trump said, at the time, Zucker should donate all the profits that CNN was receiving from increased advertising rates to veterans groups. “I don’t want to say he’s not telling the truth about it”.
Unfortunately for Trump, numerous leaders and pastors in question are adamant that their willingness to meet with the GOP front-runner did not signal an endorsement.
Christie also criticized Trump for apparently mocking a disabled reporter during a campaign rally late last month. He listed the names of pastors expected to attend the meeting, and he cited Trump’s statements negatively portraying Black Lives Matter activists, Hispanics and refugees as evidence that Trump does not have minorities’ interests at heart.
“Do you know the favor they’re going to owe him?” he added.
“My wife and my brother were trapped in lower Manhattan, and I didn’t know if they were dead or alive”, he continued. Trump brought issues to the forefront that had been glossed over for years.
I guess the Republican elites and establishment individuals want to get Clinton elected.
Mr. Trump routinely uses overtly divisive and racist language on the campaign trail. It didn’t go longer for other reasons.
