Obama ‘delusional’ about magnitude of climate change as security threat
President Barack Obama was met with what appeared to be the U.N.’s version of the Oscars’ “wrap-it-up” music Monday after he significantly overran his allotted time to speak at a global climate change summit. “No, it’s not”, Fiorina said on Sunday. The Obama administration has repeatedly claimed, even in the days leading up to the terrorist attacks in Paris, that climate change is the greatest threat to our nation’s security.
Fiorina said she watched Obama’s Paris press conference on Tuesday morning and noted that “his passion comes when he’s talking about climate change”.
“Whoever is the next president of the United States, if they come in and they suggest somehow that that global consensus, not just 99.5% of scientists and experts, but 99% of world leaders, think this is really important”, he said.
“The terrorists are absolutely delighted that our president is so delusional that instead of fighting ISIS, he’s talking about climate change”, the Republican presidential contender said Tuesday on “The Laura Ingraham Show”.
The president of the free world, however, had other ideas.
Asked about his own climate plan, Trump said his buildings have won environmental awards, but his policy amounts to: “I want to make sure we have clean air and clean water”.
“The terrorists don’t care that we’re gathering in Paris other than it provides a target, just as he said, well, Republicans are giving terrorists a recruiting tool when we don’t think Syrian refugees should be allowed to enter this country if we can not properly vet them”, Fiorina said.
The short ad, which demands “serious leadership” for America, takes footage from the president’s interview with BuzzFeed last February and edits it together with various news clips pertaining to ISIS.
