Manchester United’s Cristiano Ronaldo transfer hopes boosted by his MUM
Cristiano Ronaldo looks increasingly likely to leave Real Madrid next summer – and his Mum is reportedly keen for him to make a return to Manchester United.
Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Jose Semedo has paid tribute to Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo.
A bigger financial package, that is, which could only be Paris Saint-Germain, a club with whom Ronaldo has no history, but who can offer him a far more satisfying salary.
Ronaldo has gone from strength to strength since leaving United, winning the Ballon d’Or twice.
United have been linked with a number of world-class players in recent months, with reports suggesting that they may attempt to sign either Ronaldo or Bale this summer. “The English club informed his agent in 2013 that they have enough financial power to secure his return”. But these players are mostly ungettable.
Ronaldo plays on the wings, and he is fast and scores goals.
Robben is quoted as saying: “I never thought about a transfer [away from Bayern], I am happy in Munich; my family is happy in Munich”. An own-goal against Hamburg last weekend was followed by a penalty give-away in the first minute of Thursday’s Europa League clash with Krasnodar.
“I do think they are quite close when I think about it with my head, but my heart thinks I’d like to see them die trying a little bit more and go for it”.
It would be foolish to state Ronaldo would not be a fantastic signing for United, but there are deeper problems in the attack at present. According to the Swiss newspaper Blick, the Fiorentina player was watched during this week’s Europa League match against Basel by a man wearing a “black jacket, a beige scarf and glasses”, who it identifies as United’s “chief scout” Peter Braund.
