Iggy Azalea Returns To Twitter To Respond To Erykah Badu’s Rap Diss
Azalea didn’t respond directly to Badu’s barbs, but she take to Twitter Tuesday to slam haters who think it’s “still cool to try and discredit my 2014 accomplishments”.
Iggy Azalea is unbothered by the harsh comment Erykah Badu made about her during the recent 2015 Soul Train Awards.
Badu was doing a bit that played off her recently released mixtape But You Caint Use My Phone. “Yeah, hey. Oh, no, no, no, no, you can come, “cause what you doin” is definitely not rap”. Here’s what she had to say.
“Iggy Azalea?” she said.
The “Fancy” rapper revealed last month that the follow up to her 2014 hit record “The New Classic” will be titled “Digital Distortion”, and has further updated her fans in a surprise Q&A on Twitter by announcing that the LP is all but “ready” and is “weeks away” from being released. Iggy explained that behind the scenes complications were to blame for the lack of music.
The fiancée finished off her series of tweets with a sweet greeting aimed at her followers as she posted: ‘I’ll let you guys know if i get any updates, but if not… see you next year! enjoy the rest of 2015. xoxo’. “LOL, f*cking hell”, she wrote. Right now i live in america and am very close to the Def Jam team; but im actually signed out of the UK.
She then went on to discuss how her horse, Defender, is sick. “So I’m a little heart broken but still hopeful about things”. She ends tweeting about her upcoming plans for 2016.
