New Psy Music Video Is Hypnotizing
The singer recently admitted he was anxious about the reception the record (his first since 2012) would receive after the success of Gangnam Style.
It’s not clear as to whether this video will reach the dizzying heights of Gangnam Style, but it’s promising as it’s already racked up over 13 million views in just two days!
“There was a time when it was very easy to write songs”, he said.
“The pressure and stress was simply too huge”, he told a press conference in Seoul ahead of the release on Tuesday of his new album.
Psy’s latest title tracks “Daddy” and “Bell Bottoms” were big hits, and the internationally famous star has just gotten an all kill on real-time music charts!
Another year, another new Psy video – and this time, he is as outrageous, perhaps more so, than ever before. “Or what if foreign fans don’t understand this lyric?'” he said. In the music video, Psy can be seen performing with all his signature flailing and highly energetic dance moves not only as himself but also as a boy and several older versions of himself.
Other tracks on the album include “Dream”, featuring JYJ’s Junsu, “I Remember You”, featuring Zion.T, and “ROCKnROLLbaby” featuring will.i.am.
“Op op op op, oppa Gangnam style”.
The new song is part of the singer-rapper’s seventh album, which is titled Psy 7th Album when translated from Korean, reports Billboard.
Psy’s next album Chiljip PSY-Da goes on sale on Tuesday.
