Adam Driver Stayed in Character as Kylo Ren While Filming ‘Star Wars
Veteran actor Harrison Ford says that the character of Han Solo in the forthcoming “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” is emotionally more complex.
There is no denying that everyone is buzzing about the latest Star Wars film that hits theaters in just two weeks.

The casting director, Jeanne McCarthy, is culling the options so that Star Wars spinoff directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller can make their final pick before they go into production in January of 2017.

He’s incredibly dedicated. He’s perhaps sometimes a little overenthusiastic with wanting to prove himself as a pilot and so can sometimes find himself in slightly reckless situations, in situations that he maybe didn’t anticipate.
“It’s the first time I’ve ever really seen myself do something, so I was quite overwhelmed”, she added.
The top-secret Han Solo project is being kept highly secretive, working under the name Red Cup, a reference to the plastic disposable product company, Solo Cup. According to his fellow actors, Adam Driver stayed in character while filming Star Wars: The Force Awakens and would refuse to take his Kylo Ren mask off in between takes.
“Nine times out of 10, J.J. was dead-on with it”, he says.
The casting call is looking for actors between the ages of 16 and 34.
Since Han Solo has to be naturally amusing and charming, THR notes that young comedians have also been asked to read for the part. Other names mentioned include Tom Felton, Joshua Sasse, Hunter Parrish, Landon Liboiron, Ed Westwick, Logan Lerman, Ansel Elgort, Jack Reynor, and Max Thieriot.
