Verizon Presents: Jakku Spy – A Star Wars
A new image featuring Rey and BB-8 in Star Wars: The Force Awakens David James/© 2015 Lucasfilm Ltd. He’s not the only young actor though playing a major villain in a franchise film who got a little obsessive about his character. There is a lightsaber duel, where Kylo Ren is unmasked, revealing an intense-looking, unscarred Driver.
There’s also some pretty odd stuff, like a women’s bodysuit that says, “Trust me, I’m a Jedi”, and a hooded jumpsuit that seems to just be covered with random Star Wars text – “Vader” on one side of the torso, “Yoda” on the opposite leg, “May the Force be with you” on an arm and so on.
“Finn and Han have a very interesting relationship”, Boyega says”.
We’ve got another 16 (but who’s counting?!) days until we get to see Han Solo back in the Millennium Falcon with Chewie by his side. “My cousin’s daughter said something about wanting me to be another princess, and I’m like, ‘No!’ Girls don’t have to be princesses!”
She said: “I came out [after the movie] and was like, ‘Yeah, I’m cool”. “But more importantly, what do they know of the history of the Jedi and the Empire?” According to a new report from THR, 2500 hopefuls between the ages of 18 and 32 have already auditioned for the part either in person or via video. Hell, even the worldwide trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens proved to be one of the best moments in the films marketing campaign thus far. You can see those two images below. Developed by Lucasfilm’s ILMxLAB studio in conjunction with Google and Verizon, Jakku Spy thrusts you into the role of a Resistance secret agent on Jakku (the desert world from Star Wars: The Force Awakens), envelopes you in stunning virtual reality, and unfolds in a series of story-driven installments. Much of this excitement stems from the fact that China only recently allowed for the films to be screened in public theaters.
