The 1995 Bulls team is not impressed with the Golden State Warriors
Moving to 14-0, one shy of tying the National Basketball Association record shared by the 1948-49 Washington Capitols and 1993-94 Houston Rockets for best start to a season, the Warriors closed the game with one of their patented runs, ultimately dispatching the Bulls 106-94.
“Obviously, you don’t get a trophy for it, but it’s just a nice story line and a nice way to start the season”, Curry said. In addition to this, Harission Barnes scored 20 points, Klay Thompson added 15 while Andre Iguodala added 12 points to Golden State Warriors.
Any team that plays the Golden State Warriors is quickly realizing that they are in for a rough night.
“We haven’t brought it up at all yet, but we’re close enough now”, interim coach Luke Walton said.
Kyle Lowry had 25 points, DeMar DeRozan scored seven of his 18 in the final 3:34, and the Toronto Raptors snapped a three-game skid with a 102-91 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers.
The Warriors are unflappable, even when they’re getting crushed. “If we’ve got a chance to do it, why not?” The Warriors are looking to remain undefeated in the season and preserve their 25-home game winning streak in the regular season that started after their January loss to the Bulls. “They made big shots”.
Of course, it’s early to make predictions, but first impressions matter as they usually indicate what the season might look like come April when the post-season tips off. Greg Monroe scored 17 points, and Khris Middleton added 15 for Milwaukee. “Their ball found everyone”. Jordan and Rivers were whistled for technical fouls 23 seconds apart, and Curry was able to hit four straight free throws to cut the lead to 15.
“We’ve got to find a way to win that game and that’s on me”, Paul said.
The Warriors are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 road games and 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games overall.
“At this point, you do (think about the record)”, Warriors power forward Draymond Green admitted. Once the Warriors started making shots and Paul had to navigate against this defense through the half court offense, the Clippers fell apart, their advantages disappearing.
For the Warriors, Shaun Livingston (strained left hip flexor) and Kevon Looney (right hip surgery) are out.
The Clippers twice led by as many as 23 points in the first half, only to see that lead whittled to just 14 (68-54) at halftime. J.J. Redick sat out Thursday, missing his third consecutive game because of back spasms.
The two teams split the season series last season, both winning away from their home floor.
