TCL Pride With 4G Support, Iris Retina Scanner Launched At Rs. 10499
Chinese smartphone vendor TCL has launched its T500L smartphone in the Indian market. With this feature, you can unlock your phone just by looking at it. The front camera scans your retina, which according to the company is unique feature on this smartphone.
The TCL Pride T500L comes with a 5 inch touchscreen with full high definition (1920×1080 pixels) resolution.
The handset packs 16GB of inbuilt storage and supports expandable storage via microSD card.
As mentioned above, the TCL Pride T500L is an exclusive via Snapdeal, so buying options are relatively limited in the region.
The camera department consists of a 13MP AF primary camera on the back (with an LED Flash) and an 8MP on the front. There is also an 8-megapixel fixed focus front snapper for the selfie lovers.
The TCL Pride T500L runs the Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system, and an interesting feature is its iris retina scanner. The listing also confirms that both the SIMs can support 4G LTE.
One of the alluring features of this new smartphone is the iris scanner for providing security to the handset. But there have been Android smartphones in the past like the ViewSonic-made V55 and the Fujitsu Arrows NX F-04G flagship as well.
TCL has launched the new TCL Pride T500L in India which is now exclusively available via the E-commerce retailer, Snapdeal.
Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port. It is priced at Rs. 10,499 and will be available in the colors White and Slate Grey.
