Accelerate expansion of antiretroviral therapy to people living with HIV
In the United States over 1.2 million people are living with HIV and over 650,000 have died.
It observed that some low – and middle-income countries have made remarkable progress towards universal access to HIV services: 12 countries have ensured that 60 per cent or more of all people living with HIV are aware of their infection and receiving antiretroviral therapy. Dimapur, Mokokchung, and Phek districts saw programs dedicated to the occasion.

The official also explained that discrimination against those infected can be eradicated from the society through more awareness campaigns.
Getting more financing for AIDS will be a hard task.
“I think that’s one of the best things that has come out of this”, he said. Those figures were published by the Caribbean Public Health Agency. The social push that was achieved through Influential’s strategy increases the chances that those involved in fighting HIV and AIDS would be able to receive more awareness and support.
Mr Usamate said the prevention of HIV was important.
