It was reported in January 2011 that Lakers president Jim Buss would not include Andrew Bynum in a deal for Anthony, who one month later was traded from Denver to the Knicks.
Kobe Bryant played in front of his hometown Philadelphia fans for the final time Tuesday night when the Los Angeles Lakers visited the Philadelphia 76ers.
“You can’t script this stuff – I can’t”, he said. I appreciate the bad stuff. “I don’t know what to say no more, too much negativity, atmosphere and it’s starting to bother us, starting to get to all of us”. You had to expect that he was going to come out and try something, but I doubt anyone expected what actually happened.
“I wasn’t expecting that type of reaction, ovation”, said Bryant, who scored 20 points on 7-for-26 shooting for the Lakers (2-15). Despite Durant’s wishes, the media is not going to ignore or excuse those numbers because of Bryant’s past accomplishments.

Bryant said it was his 2013 injury, which left him unable to play for close to nine months, that got him thinking about leaving the game. So I don’t see it that way, and I don’t really get involved in that side of things, but I don’t see it that way.
