Trump remains tops in GOP
Ted Cruz acknowledges that there are many problems in the United States, a scarcity of condoms is not one of them.
It’s unclear what specifically is causing the decline, but the rise of Rubio and Cruz as alternatives might have something to do with it. Note that Carson’s bubble in September got deflated when Carly Fiorina (dark gray line) suddenly caught fire. A poll by the same company last month had Carson in second place on 23%.
Clinton remains the most likely Democratic nominee, and despite her negative favorability ratings, she can easily beat any of the Republican nominees in a general election. “Republicans would curl up in a ball, they’d say, ‘Don’t hurt me.’ Jiminy Cricket!”
Trump garners 27% of Republican support nationwide in the Quinnipiac University poll that also saw fellow political outsider Ben Carson losing ground.
Carson, predictably, has slipped in the polls.
Clinton at 46 percent to Carson’s 43 percent compared to Carson’s 50 – 40 percent lead last month.
Sanders did even better, topping Trump 49 percent to 41 percent, getting 44 percent to Rubio’s 43 percent, beating Cruz 49 percent to 39 percent and leading Carson 47 percent to 41 percent. Rubio saw a small gain from the November poll where he earned 14 percent.
Still, the Q poll is the latest sign that Rubio looks like the real deal in a crowded, cacophonous Republican field.
And only six in 10 say he has strong leadership qualities – down from 76 percent of Republicans in early November. No one else topped 3 percent, with 8 percent undecided.
Mr. Trump bested the competition with a variety of Republicans, including voters who described themselves as tea party, extremely conservative and moderate or liberal. Those subgroups are also the three most important and powerful when it comes to deciding the GOP nominee in 2016.
Trump was favored by 30 percent of the men and 24 percent of the woman among GOP voters. “Hillary Clinton embraces abortion on demand in all circumstances up until the moment of birth, partial birth abortion with taxpayer funding with no notification for parents in any circumstances”, Cruz said.
When he was just a college student in Princeton University and Harvard Law School, Cruz said there was always easy access to condoms and he has no plans of changing it.
Like mentioned above, Ben Carson doesn’t seem prepared to deal with foreign policy and national security issues, even though his campaign tried to proved the candidate’s understanding of the topic.
“Would a President Cruz build a wall along the entire southern border?”
