Israeli security services confirmed Thursday that several Jewish youths have been arrested recently over their alleged involvement in an arson attack that killed three members of a Palestinian family in July. The couple’s four-year-old son was the sole survivor from the immediate family.
In return, 20 Israelis were killed in stabbing and running over attacks carried out by Palestinians. Earlier this month, Israel’s defense minister had said Jewish extremists were involved, but that there was not enough evidence to prosecute.
It said in a statement that those detained were being questioned over the July 31 firebombing in the West Bank village of Duma.
