QB Rodgers limited by right shoulder injury for Packers
Packers Head Coach Mike McCarthy said Thursday he has “no concern” for Rodgers’ availability for Sunday’s NFC North showdown in Minnesota – according to Packers.com. Bridgewater may need to reach beyond his comfort zone against Green Bay, but his penchant for limiting mistakes should serve him well come Sunday.
Since their loss to the Denver Broncos, the Vikings took a bye week and have since wrecked havoc in the league – beating teams like the Kansas City Chiefs, St. Louis Rams and Oakland Raiders in the process.
Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers is upset that his team has lost three straight games, but he is not changing anything about his preparation leading up to this week’s game against the Minnesota Vikings. Rodgers has thrown for 26 touchdowns versus three interceptions in winning nine of his last 10 against Minnesota.2.
Receiver Jared Abbrederis had a breakout game with four catches for 57 yards against Detroit, but hurt his ribs on a 32-yard reception in the fourth quarter. Moreover, it is reported that quarterback Aaron Rodgers was limited in practice Wednesday because of a right shoulder injury.
“Yeah it’s frustration when you’re not scoring, for sure, yeah”, Rodgers said on Sunday. “I’m definitely feeling a shift in terms of the mentality of the team, the way we continue to approach it with the fight, the will and the desire to win no matter what”.
“Their organization is one of the top organizations in sports”, Zimmer said, “and honestly we’re just trying to get in the mix with these guys”. We have to sustain drives better…. “We’ve got to try to find a way to be more efficient on offense, and we’ve got to score touchdowns in the red zone when you’re playing a real good football team”.
This happened before the Packers’ 18-16 defeat by the Detroit Lions on Sunday. “We’ll keep things in perspective”. It’s almost a must-win situation for the visitors, who can ill afford to fall two games behind Minnesota in the division.
This week first place is on the line in the NFC North as the Green Bay Packers visit Minnesota to take on the Vikings. “I have a ton of respect for them”.
Keeping things going hasn’t been a problem for either Rodgers or Peterson in this rivalry.
