Manoj Kumar out of hospital, doing ‘fine’ now

Veteran actor Manoj Kumar was hospitalised at Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. The 78-year-old actor is fine and at home, the sources said.

Apparently the renowned star Manoj Kumar was hospitalized in November, reports Business Standard. Manoj Kumar’s family members informed that they needed privacy and would not divulge any details about the superstar’s condition. The Padmashri victor is reportedly back at home and is doing fine.

The actor has been given the nickname of Bhaarat Kumar, for his roles in films that had patriotic themes.

Some of his popular films include “Upkar“, “Roti Kapda Aur Makaan“, “Hariyali Aur Raasta“, “Do Badan“, “Himalaya Ki God Mein” and “Patthar Ke Sanam“, besides others.

In 1992, he was respected with the Padma Shri.
