Evidence FOUND of 9/11 celebrations in Jersey City
Trump supporters have pointed to a recently unearthed video of a news segment initially broadcast after the 2001 attacks that reported on an alleged celebration of Muslims on a rooftop near Journal Square in Jersey City, saying the broadcast proves Trump was correct.
Rudy Giuliani, the former mayor of New York City, admitted that “pockets” of people did celebrate the attack on the twin towers on September 11, 2001.
“It didn’t happen. And the fact is, you know, people can say anything”.
Black voters, he says, like Trump because he’s “speaking up” and “telling the truth”, and because he fights back when others go after him. “There was absolutely no celebration, in fact we were very much concerned about the backlash at our community”.
Trump told NBC’s “Meet the Press” Sunday he “saw clips and so did many other people and many people saw it in person”.
Reached by phone Wednesday, the now-retired Guzman told ABC News his 9/11 news report came via Jersey City and Port Authority sources, all of whom told him it was “reports of at most a handful of people…mostly from the same building in Jersey City”. “This is going to be more hate, and more Islamophobia against this Muslim community”.
“Trump is not only a bigot, but a liar”, Awad said. “We will see. But I would not sell him short”.

Bernie Sanders said that Trump adds to the growth of Islamaphobia with his comments. Carson told reporters that he too remembers seeing video of celebrations taking place in New Jersey after the attacks.
Trump has called for increased surveillance of mosques, and claimed at a November 21 campaign stop that he saw “thousands and thousands” of people in Jersey City cheering as the World Trade Center was destroyed.
