Sandra Bullock Secret Adoption Revealed; ‘Gravity’ Star Welcomes 3-Year-Old

Sandra admits Laila was nervous at first when she brought her home in what was the conclusion of a three-year process but Louis, five, and herself made sure she felt confident in her new environment and reassured that they were her new family.

As for the playful dynamic she shares with her two children, Bullock summed it up saying, “My family is blended and diverse, nutty, and loving and understanding”. Both her children were adopted from Louisiana. She has been caring for Laila (pronounced Lila) for a while now, but she did not want to publicize it until the adoption was finalized, according to People on Wednesday.

Laila was adopted from the foster care system and had been living with the actress for some time before her placement was finalized after which only she decided to make it official. The World’s Most Beautiful Woman for 2015 is going to be run thin with Laila joining her brother Louis in the house! “When I look at Laila, there’s no doubt in my mind that she was supposed to be here…” Bullock concluded that her children came to her at the exact right time. “Louis spearheaded this whole journey”, Bullock says.

Actress Sandra Bullock – who split from husband Jesse James in 2010 amid allegations he had cheated on her- doesn’t think she will ever get married again. However, the actress slammed the news saying that if she had a second adopted child, she would make it official.

Years later, in a subsequent interview with the magazine about how motherhood has shaped her, the Minions actress further dished, “There are so many variations of families out there that are ideal”. Am I living my authentic life, am I good enough, working hard enough, am I able to keep my son safe? Then I have a very traditional family.

“Louis is the one who snapped me out of it”.
