That isn’t all, though, as the remastered version of the hit game was also developed for PC and is now available as a free download for the holidays. The game did a fantastic job at delivering a 2.5D side-scrolling action/adventure games reminiscent of classic titles like Metroid, Castlevania, and others in the same genre.

You might recall Shadow Complex originally being released on Xbox Live Arcade for Xbox 360 back in 2009.

The Pan European Game Information board has been on a roll lately with revealing new games for home consoles and PC well ahead of their official announcements. It won more than 50 Game of the Year and Editor’s Choice awards. A Metroidvania style platformer, Shadow Complex was very well received at release and follows Jason Flemming searching for his girlfriend lost in a secret government facility.
