Game of Thrones Season 6 Teaser Trailer
HBO is fully aware of this fact – and that’s why Jon Snow (Kit Harrington) is featured prominently in the first season 6 teaser, which went live on Thursday.
As the montage plays, new audio from the next season is heard, featuring Snow’s younger brother Bran Stark, who hasn’t been seen since the end of season four. The former will provide guidance to Bran as he travels north of the Wall, and what he says here – “We watch, we listen, and we remember. The ink is dry.” – is very interesting indeed. Jon Snow being stabbed, Ned Stark’s beheading, Joffrey’s poisoning, Arya going blind, the Red Wedding, Jamie Lannister’s hand being chopped off, Cersei’s walk of “shame” and the Battle with the White Walkers at Hardhome.
Is he talking about the viewers? Up to date: “16:35 EST, three December 2015 HBO’s Game of Thrones” devastating season 5 finale saw the ruthless homicide of Jon Snow.
While we look through the familiar footage, we do get some new ideas in regards to dialogue and what Bran has been up to with all of that training he has been involved with.
Finally we have Bran saying “They have no idea what’s going to happen”. If Jon Snow is back, all is forgiven in my book.
But Harington has been seen since on the Belfast set of the show and his character is front and center on the “Game of Thrones” promotional art for Season 6.
Westeros beckons once more as HBO debuts the first all-too-brief teaser for Game of Thrones season 6, which is due to premiere in early 2016.
Game of Thrones is consistently one of the most talked about pop culture staples on the Internet. The teaser seems to know this and, well, teases us.
Given von Sydow is a pretty big name, we can expect to see a lot of this returning character next season.
