Huawei Unveils Metal-Clad Enjoy 5S With 2GB Of RAM In Tow
Huawei not only manufactures smartphones but also designs wearables and recently, it has launched a wearable fitness band in the Honor series named Honor Band Z1 in India which is now available for purchase via the leading E-Commerce giant Flipkart. It is a variant of the Enjoy 5 smartphone which was launched back in October this year.
The Huawei Enjoy 5S a slight step up compared to the Enjoy 5.
Speaking about the specs, the Huawei Enjoy 5S features a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) resolution IPS display. It runs Google’s Android 5.1 Lollipop with Huawei’s Emotion UI (EMUI) 3.1 installed on top.
On the back of the device you’re looking at a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera, a fingerprint reader, and hybrid dual SIM card slots.
For example, the Enjoy 5S comes equipped with a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek MT6753T processor while the predecessor model packs a quad-core CPU.
It features a 13MP rear camera with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture and a 5MP front shooter for selfie lovers. This handset sports a more powerful SoC, but its battery can not match the one used in the Enjoy 5. Connectivity options on the device include 4G-LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS and microUSB port. It comes backed by a 2200mAh battery that can last upto 200 hours of standby time.
The Chinese company announced that Enjoy 5S will be available in three color versions: Gold, Silver and Titanium Gray. Well, the phone costs either 1,099 ($172) or 1,199 Yuan ($188), depending on who you purchase the device from (carrier locked or unlocked).
