In reply to a question regarding the remarks of the Indian ambassador to Afghanistan about Pakistani Prime Ministers Nawaz Sharif statement on Afghanistan, the spokesman said that it is against diplomatic norms for an ambassador to try to undermine relations of his host country with a third country. “Modi is doing whatever he can to ensure that there is peace in the country and to bring good days for it and is touring and flying on a massive scale for the same”, it said, adding that “now nobody has to leave the country on the pretext that there is an atmosphere of intolerance”. He said there were about 2,300 waiting deportation in various detention centres in Saudi Arabia.
