Black pastors split over Trump as GOP nominee
A week of raging debate over Syrian refugees and Islamic State violence has scattered misinformation everywhere.
Citizen Video via YouTube Authorities investigated at a Jersey City, New Jersey apartment building in September 2001 after neighbors reported people celebrating the 9/11 attacks.
A Donald Trump adviser is providing what he claims is proof the GOP presidential contender was correct in asserting he saw New Jersey Muslims celebrating the 9/11 terror attack – but CBS News reports the video stirs up problems with Trump’s story. “We actually didn’t think we were going to be having a press conference, but we all thought it was such a good meeting that we would do that”, Trump said. “Anybody who knows Donald Trump personally knows that he’s not a racist”, said Steve Parson, a black pastor from Richmond, Virginia.
Trump, who has told this anecdote again and again on the campaign trail, despite it being widely debunked, continues to claim that there’s footage of a large crowd cheering the terrorists on. “Here in NY it was easy to get angry listening to Egyptians and Palestinians and the Arabs of nearby Paterson, New Jersey celebrate as they received word of the murderous attacks in NY and Washington”.
According to the New York Times, what once presented itself as irritation among the party establishment has morphed into genuine concern over the candidate’s success. “And he said that he would”, the report says. Mr. Trump forced others to take a stance. “Real life not usually black or white”.
“We left 40 years ago the land of my county where I belonged to, Pakistan, and adopted this country”, he says.
Two pastors from the Richmond area offered different opinions of how the meeting went down.
But why won’t Rudy say that, asked CNN host Alisyn Camerota?
Trump has claimed he wasn’t mocking Kovaleski. The comments are arrogant, he says, and he feels ashamed as both an American and a Republican. “If you are seeking the African-American community to support you, at the least, you’re not helping with these kind of things that are going on”.
Donald Trump loves to talk about Donald Trump, which is not a problem because everyone loves to hear about Donald Trump. “And the 100 that went in there walked away with nothing, they did it for free”, Bryant said.
