Coldplay to Headline Super Bowl 2016 Halftime Show: Details!
After months of speculation, we finally know who will be performing at the Super Bowl 50 halftime show. Coldplay is slated to release what is rumored to be its final album, “A Head Full of Dreams” on Friday.
Super Bowl 50 will take place on February 7, 2016, in Santa Clara, at the Levi’s Stadium.
Coldplay will be all over American television promoting “A Head Full Of Dreams” in the next few days.
The Super Bowl broke records for viewing figures with 114 million people tuning in in the U.S. this year – but the band is no stranger to the big stage, having played at the London 2012 Paralympic closing ceremony and Glastonbury Festival. “Yesterday, what I was nervous about was all about the set list”.

Eagle-eyed fans were alerted to the possibility of a new album last month, when a pattern that Martin had worn on a T-shirt at an event in Global Citizen Festival in NY in September appeared on social media.
Coldplay is one of performers that had been rumored ahead of the official announcement by the National Football League and Pepsi tonight.
They’d warmed up earlier with a special Live Lounge, launching straight into new single Adventure Of A Lifetime.
Unusually for Coldplay, it features a stellar array of guests, with Beyonce, Noel Gallagher, Swedish singer Tove Lo and soul diva Merry Clayton all making appearances. A Head Full Of Dreams opens with the title track, which builds from an ambient start into a crowd-pleaser. This is great timing to announce the Super Bowl gig today.
