Robben pleads for ‘world’s best’ Guardiola to stay at Bayern
The Bavarians have already opened up an eight-point lead at the top of the Bundesliga as they search for a historic fourth straight league title and third in a row under Guardiola. “The same goes for the coach – they come and they go too sooner or later”. Rumours of a City move for Guardiola have recurred throughout his tenure at the Etihad Stadium, and even predate his arrival in 2013.
Should Guardiola get a hint of Wenger deciding enough is enough at the end of next season, he could elect to remain with Bayern for one more year before moving to Arsenal.

Bayern’s AMG was this past Friday and the club had high hopes of announcing a two year extension for Guardiola at the meeting.
However, the former Barcelona coach’s contract at the Allianz Arena is set to expire at the end of the season and speculation over a potential move elsewhere has been widespread.
Bayern are on course to win a record fourth consecutive championship, and have also impressed in Europe despite the ongoing uncertainty about Guardiola’s future.
The club wants an answer and is not getting it. City, on the other hand, think that if Pep comes to the Premier League, it will be to them.
Guardiola was approached by Sir Alex Ferguson back in 2012 before he retired and David Moyes was subsequently appointed, so his name has been linked to the United job plenty of times in the past.
Former Chelsea and Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti is rumoured to be the favourite to take over should Guardiola leave.
Reports in Spain that they have already done a deal with Guardiola – who has a close relationship with Blues executives Ferran Soriano and Txiki Begiristain from their time together at Barcelona – are premature.
