Obama lights Christmas tree, appeals for brotherhood
As for the performers, there will be a variety of celebrities and musicians that include Fall Out Boy, Andra Day, Tori Kelly, Trombone Shorty, Crosby, Stills, & Nash, Aloe Blacc, Kelsea Ballerini, Joyous String Quartet, Miss Piggy, Reese Witherspoon, Bellamy Young, and The United States Coast Guard Band.

Thursday, Dec. 3 from 5 to 8 p.m. Strongs Creek Plaza in Fortuna holds its Holiday Open House, with tree lighting at 7 p.m. The ceremony will also air on PBS throughout the month of December.
