LG Bello II announced; sets to debut in India this month
The phone will be marketed as the LG Max in India, Mexico, Russian Federation and other Commonwealth countries, and as the LG Prime II in Brazil and Chile. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad core processor paired with 1GB RAM.
The phone will launch in India and Latin America in this month, while it will release in Europe in the 3rd quarter of the year.
LG has announced the launch of a new smartphone, the LG Bello II, the handset is designed for 3G markets.
The second-gen Bello comes with a 5-inch FWVGA display with 854 x 480 pixel resolution. The phone will have an internal storage of 8 GB which is expandable via microSD cards, but the extent of expansion is yet unknown. In terms of software, this device is shipped with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box.
With a 5.0-inch display, a 5MP front-facing camera and 2,540mAh replaceable battery, the newest LG camera sports proprietary features like Gesture Shot and Selfie Flash, carried over from its G Series, packaged in a sleek design that makes use of premium materials for added style and durability.
This smartphone comes with software features including Knock Code, Gesture Shot and Selfie Flash, which are basically found in higher-end LG smartphones.
The LG Bello II has Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS and a microUSB port on the connectivity front and there is dual-SIM card option with HSPA+ (3G) network support. The rear camera has 8MP resolution, while the front camera is rated at 5MP. Moreover, Bello II hardware is powered by a 2540mAh battery.
Juno Cho, president and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company, said, “With its 5MP selfie camera, large display and familiar features, the LG Bello II is a great balance of form, function and price, which is why we expect to be even more successful than its predecessor”. LG said that the price will vary from region to region and the exact pricing and availability details will be released only during the local launch of the phone.
