‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ news: Thanksgiving trailer revealed more details
Adam Driver confessed he hadn’t even told his wife that he’d scored the role of villain Kylo when Ren Abrams and LucasFilm tweeted out the first cast photo last April. Abrams recently spoke up about his inspiration for the fights telling Empire Magazine about how they will be more like the original trilogy.
Ren commands the order’s missions “with a temper as fiery as his unconventional lightsaber”.
We previously saw him apparently speaking with the melted helmet of Darth Vader, the villain from “Star Wars” episodes IV, V and VI.
Over shots of Stormtroopers on the attack, Andy Serkis’ Supreme Leader Snoke can be heard saying: “There’s been an awakening”. Like the past teasers, this new one is filled with lots of action sequences from lightsaber battles to air battles.
“You don’t know what I’ve seen”.
For those who want to be completely spoiler-free come December 18 when Star Wars: The Force Awakens is released, well, there’s an app for that.
“Star Wars: The Force Awakens” features the return of…well, we won’t spoil it. The duration of the clip is only a minute long but shows various scenes.
Until now, the trailers have focused mostly on The Force Awakens’ main protagonists, Daisy Ridley’s Rey and John Boyega’s Finn. Other casts include the veterans: Harrison Ford as Han Solo with his all-time loyal sidekick Chewbacca played by Peter Mayhew, Carrie Fisher as Leia, and Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker. This makes more sense as to why our new generation of heroes would go to her for assistance.
GSC Pavilion Kuala Lumpur is also giving fans the chance to win tickets to the film’s Gala Premiere on 17 December 2015.
