Gun control puts congress at odds

Two databases that track mass shootings – shootingtracker and gunviolencearchive.org – depend on news accounts and are not official. The guns used in the San Bernardino massacre were legal in California, but even if they had been illegal there, the shooters could crossed the border into a state with more lenient laws.

And this week, 14 people slaughtered in San Bernardino, Calif…. But we’re not even trying. So as Republicans enthusiastically maneuver to pass a long-elusive Obamacare repeal, they’re also forced to go on record against broadening gun regulations. So in our next election, let’s have one of our issues be: “It’s the guns, stupid” and vote on that issue. “This level of violence must be stopped”.
