Charlie Sheen’s ex-fiancee sues star over HIV revelation
Rossi alleges that she had sex with Sheen five times before learning that he was HIV-positive upon discovering his medications.
In court documents obtained by Us Weekly, Rossi claims that Sheen failed to disclose he was HIV-positive prior to sex, was verbally and physically abusive, and forced her to have an abortion so they wouldn’t have a “retarded child”.
The Two And A Half Men star disclosed he was HIV positive on the Today show last month.
Rossi, 26, also known as Scottine Ross, filed papers to sue Charlie Sheen, 50, on Thursday, with the additional allegations of negligence, as well as assault and battery, false imprisonment and emotional distress. Ross accepted Sheen’s marriage proposal in early 2014, but told him they would have to wait to actually get married until she was done finalizing her divorce from her first husband, the complaint says. However, Martin Singer, Charlie’s attorney, has said that they intend to defend the lawsuit, and are confident Sheen will prevail.
Charlie Sheen’s ex-fiancée Brett Rossi is suing him after his HIV revelation. They were engaged for eight months before they ended their relationship.
Ross is also asking for damages, what the court “deems just and proper”, while seeking special, general and punitive damages from the Platoon actor.
The lawsuit states the two first met on 1st of November 2013 at Sheen’s home, and he paid her $10,000 to have sex after she signed what her lawyer, David M. Ring, terms an “unenforceable” non-disclosure agreement. Rossi claims Sheen then bullied her into getting the abortion.
Yes, Charlie Sheen has been hit with a lawsuit in the aftermath of his admission on The Today Show of having HIV. She revealed that she got pregnant in 2014 and when the Anger Management actor found out about this, he got really angry.
He said a few people who knew it were demanding money from him to keep the secret.
Rossi attempted suicide by overdosing on drugs in November 2014 after the engagement was called off. And again in December after Sheen sent her “insulting and demeaning text messages”.
