Russia “Deals Massive Blow” In Syria With Cruise Missiles
The caption accompanying the video reads, “Pilots and technicians of Hmeymim airbase have sent by priority airmail their message to terrorists”. Another message written on a bomb in the video appears to say “for our guys” in Russian.
According to Russia’s defense minister, Russian warplanes have flown 522 sorties and destroyed over 800 targets over the last four days. The bomb is now waiting to be dispatched from Syria and follows the news that Isis were responsible for last week’s Paris attacks as well as the Russian plane crash in Egypt. “There has been no talk, and there is still no talk of a ground operation”, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov was quoted as saying by RIA Novosti on 20 November.
Russian Federation began launching missiles and long-range bombers from warships in the Caspian last month.
A fleet of Russian warships in the Caspian sea separately launched 18 cruise missiles on “terrorist positions” in Syria earlier today.
The doomed plane was operated by Russian airline Kogalymavia and crashed en route from Sharm el0Sheikh to Saint Petersburg, Russia, killing all 224 people on board.
