Streets on and near the parade route will close around 5:30 p.m., and parking on route streets will also be closing around 5:45 p.m. There are prizes like best float and fan favorite which will be announced at Tuesday’s Town Hall meeting. “They say a smile is the same in every language, and I think you can spread that spirit of graciousness everywhere you go”.
The hometown parade is the largest Christmas parade in MI, according to Rochester Regional Chamber of Commerce representatives, with an average of 3,500 participants annually.
