Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom announced for PS4

Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch was met with much critical acclaim so today’s announcement is surely a treat for fans of the franchise.

From the trailer shown at this year’s PlayStation Experience, Nino Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom features a new storyline and a new character. The game focuses on Evan, a boy king who must travel through a kingdom engulfed in darkness and prove he’s worthy of being a leader. The visual and animation design is once again created by Studio Ghibli, with music composed by Joe Hisaishi.

No release date has been announced.

Needless to say that we’re super excited to play Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom on PS4.

No other details were given about Ni No Kuni 2: Revenant King, like when the game will come out or on what platforms. Bandai Namco Entertainment will be publishing the game for western audiences.

“With its emotional storytelling, innovative gameplay, and breathtaking aesthetics, the original Ni no Kuni broke new ground in the RPG genre and became one of the most beloved and well-received games of 2013”. The game released in January 2013 for North America.
