Nicki Minaj Bails Out Brother Charged With Raping Child

Nicki Minaj‘s older brother Jelani Maraj has been arrested on charges of rape of a 12-year-old, Newsday reported, citing a source. Maraj, 37, stands accused of first degree rape and first degree sexual conduct with a 12-year-old.

Bailed him out: Nicki Minaj has reportedly published $100,000 bond for her brother Jelani Maraj who was being held in Nassau County, New York NY, after being charged with raping a preteen. He’s scheduled to be back in court on December 9.

When Jelani Maraj tied the knot earlier this year, Nicki Minaj paid for the wedding.

Even crazier, she put up two of her NY homes as collateral for the bond! One of the home is now being used by her brother and the other is used by her mother, Carol.

The Anaconda singer spent $30,000 on her brother’s wedding when he married longtime girlfriend Jacqueline Robinson in August. From all accounts Nicki and her brother are close, according to the Daily Star. The caption of this picture said it all, Minaj loves her big brother very much.
