Hollyoaks star axed “with immediate effect”

More details have now emerged which say that she was given several warnings before a final event forced the bosses to take the harsh decision.

Hollyoaks star Stephanie Davis who has been dropped from the soap with “immediate effect”.

Stephanie had been warned about her bad behaviour by show bosses and the latest incident was seen as the final straw.

However that was before any explanation was giving as to why she was abruptly axed.

She recently signed a new deal keeping her on the soap for another year, but a spokeswoman for the show said: “Stephanie Davis will no longer be filming Hollyoaks“.

Digital Spy has reported that the show bosses have chose to terminate her contract.

Stephanie joined the soap in 2010 and has often impressed with her portrayal of Sinead.

Sinead has been involved in a number of Hollyoaks’ biggest storylines in recent years, including a hard-hitting bullying plot, a prostitution storyline and she had a key role in the 2013 explosion at the council flats.

Brunette Stephanie is regularly spotted out on the social scene in Manchester at celebhaunt bars like Neighbourhood, Club Liv and Sakana, often with her fellow Hollyoaks stars and other showbiz friends.

A year ago she was nominated for the Best Actress award and Best Dramatic Performance at The British Soap Awards.
