Caitlyn Jenner ‘facing third lawsuit by family involved in fatal vehicle crash’
A family who suffered serious injuries in a fatal traffic collision involving Caitlyn Jenner earlier this year sued the Olympic gold medalist on Friday. Occupants of the auto included four Wolf-Milesi family members: Peter, his wife Lea, and their children Nino and Gaetano, along with Lea’s mother, Elga Maurer, reports People.
CAITLYN Jenner is facing her third lawsuit following the vehicle crash she was involved with in February 2015 that left one person dead.
Nonetheless, Jenner faces two other lawsuits aside from the music producer’s. It also says that Wolf-Milesi’s wife sustained blunt-force injuries which require ongoing treatment.
The accident occurred before Ms Jenner announced she is transgender and transitioned into her new identity as Caitlyn, a process that was filmed for TV cameras.
Prosecutors have previously declined to press criminal charges against Jenner for the crash after determining there wasn’t enough evidence to support a conviction.
“My heartfelt and deepest sympathies go out to the family and loved ones, and to all of those who were involved or injured in this bad accident”.
In May, CNN reported that Bruce Jenner was sued for the vehicle crash by Dana Redmond and William Howe, the adult stepson and stepdaughter of Kimberly Howe, who was fatally injured in the crash.
Following the accident, Jenner expressed her sympathy via a statement that said, “It is a devastating tragedy”.
In addition, the suit also alleges that the “emotional effects” of involvement in the deadly collision have induced “tremendous distress and suffering” for the family. I am praying for them.
After a 6 month detective investigation following the crash this year, Caitlyn was cleared of all charges in September.
Kim Howe’s stepchildren claimed Caitlyn was a “negligent” driver but the reality star has attempted to get the wrongful death lawsuit dismissed.
