Warmer weather not holding back local Christmas tree sales

Keep your newly-purchased tree in a sheltered, unheated area such as a porch or garage to protect it from the wind until you’re ready to decorate it.
Make sure the base of the tree (bottom 8 inches) is straight so you don’t encounter problems with the tree stand during set-up.
