The Latest ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Champs Have Been Crowned!

Aussie teen Bindi Irwin and partner Derek Hough nailed a quickstep as they bid for the Dancing With The Stars title.

Calling his time on the show “a bonding experience”, the Backstreet Boys singer gave kudos to Season 21 victor Bindi Irwin.

Irwin said: “I’ve tried to just remember his strength, knowing that Dad is kind of still with me”. The “Wildlife Warrior” took home the Mirror Ball trophy for season 21 of Dancing With the Stars.

Bindi Irwin and her partner, Derek Hough bested Nick Carter and Sharna Burgess who came in second place as well as Alek Skarlatos and Lindsay Arnold in third place.

The night was filled with energy, laughter and also tears from being moved by performances from Alek Skarlatos, Bindi Irwin, Carlos PenaVega and Nick Carter. Congrats to this remarkable young lady on her big win. After the dance routine, the Australian teenager was surprised to see a photo of her late father Steve Irwin.

Irwin and her partner, Derek Hough, danced to Leona Lewis’ “Footprints in the Sand“. This made her sail through the finale. “I can’t believe that I’m here and just thank you for changing my life”.

“I never really talked about everything that I felt when Dad passed away, and I never thought I’d revisit that”, Bindi said.

The performance of Bindi Irwin on the finale was as polished as ever.

The teenager’s journey on the show was filled with emotions as she dedicated her proud moments to her late father.

In week four of the competition, Bindi paid tribute to her dad for the theme of her “most memorable year”, breaking down as she talked about their relationship.
