Black Friday Deals Week returns for a sixth year on Amazon
So when it comes to Black Friday, particularly online, shoppers are looking for the hottest products at the lowest prices.
Hundreds of British businesses, selling on Amazon Marketplaces, are also participating in Black Friday Deals Week for the first time this year, which means that there will be more items to chose from.
The Newegg Black Friday 2015 deals kick off Monday, November 23rd and run through Cyber Monday, November 30th.
Here are some of the deals Amazon customers can find: *Kindle Paperwhite for $99.99 and and Fire, $34.99. There’s also a billion HDTVs on sale already, which is standard for Black Friday as a whole. Yet, these deals will only be found from 3 p.m.to 11 p.m. ET from Thanksgiving to December 8.
Deals will be offered on more than 5,000 products during the eight-day period, Newegg said.
“Black Friday might not even make it into the top three shopping days”, said Craig Johnson, president of Customer Growth Partners.
More than 150 “Lightning Deals” will be available only within the Amazon mobile applications on iOS, Android and Fire OS. Moreover, in genuine Amazon style, it’s putting forth Prime members early access to the larger part of these Lightning Deals, with 30-minutes lead-time.
Amazon says that new deals will be added every five minutes throughout these eight days, though the biggest cuts will be made available only on Thanksgiving day. The Black Friday retail event allows moms and daughters to go shopping together to hunt for the best holiday deals and afterward spend some time together over lunch.
Although there are many stores in Bloomington-Normal area that are choosing to close their doors on Thanksgiving, such as T.J. Maxx and Staples, REI is one of the few staying closed for Black Friday. Many stores like Walmart and Target will place items in unusual places. Amazon.com still carry the Black Friday branding.
Right now, Amazon is only teasing the Black Friday deals as most will not be announced until the official start on Friday.
