Saints record first two-point blocked extra point return
After all, the Panthers have won three out of the last four games against the black and gold. After all, the Redskins are only 5-6, but that is good enough for first place in the weak NFC East. The Cowboys just lost Tony Romo again, this time for the season, and got blown out on Thanksgiving by the Panthers to fall to 3-8. It wasn’t too long ago that Ron Rivera was on the hot seat.
The Saints raced out to a 14-0 lead thanks to a Panthers defensive lapse, and then making a heads-up play with their own defense. QUESTIONABLE: T Terron Armstead (knee), G Jahri Evans (ankle).

Brees kept finding his guys and Mark Ingram.
“He played [linebacker] on one of the best defenses to ever play this game, the “85 Bears”, Munnerlyn said”. “I mean we went two months without a win, so I was like, ‘Hey, I hear you coach, but I want to see something'”. That’s just the nature of it all when you are 4-7. But given how the Panthers have played, the Saints aren’t the least bit surprised. It got ugly quick, and turnovers plagued the Saints.
But the difference in the Panthers this year is that their defense has been clicking all season, in tandem with their offense. They are giving up 134.5 yards a game with an incredible 4.9 yards per average on each attempt.
Another point of reference is that not only is the Panthers’ O-line playing a key part in how well they run the ball, but everyone on the offense chips into the performance. Let’s not forget to mention that the once heralded potent attack of Sean Payton’s crew has 20 points in the past two games.
Indianapolis at Pittsburgh (Sunday)- This is a hard game to pick since we do not know if Ben Roethlisberger will play this weekend because of a possible concussion.
Watching some of the last few unbelievable endings in recent National Football League games such as the botched field goal by the Cleveland Browns that would have assured victory or the poorly defended Hail Mary pass against the Detroit Lions that ended up sending Lions receiver Calvin Johnson to his knees ran home for me. Kuechly had two interceptions at Dallas on Thanksgiving Day, including one returned for a touchdown. It feels completely different for the Saints.
This leads to the problems facing the Saints on Sunday.
