San Diego Islamic Leaders Condemn San Bernadino Attack
San Bernardino Police Chief Jarrod Burguan said Farook attended the holiday party and left “under circumstances that were described as angry”.
The radio report did not refer to Syed Farook and Tashfeen Malik as members of the Islamic State group.
The FBI said Friday the mass shooting is now being investigated as terrorism.
Islamic State (ISIS) have claimed responsibility for the San Bernardino shootings which claimed the lives of 14 people on Wednesday, 2 December.
Authorities say they recovered two assault-style rifles, two semi-automatic handguns, 6,100 rounds of ammunition and 12 pipe bombs in the couple’s home.
U.S. investigators had yesterday said that the Pakistani wife of the Pakistani-American man who together carried out the deadly shooting, pledged allegiance to IS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi on Facebook.
It said those supporters killed 14 people inside the facility and wounded more than 20 before dying in a shootout with police. The FBI appeared to be stumped about what caused the couple to open fire, he said. That does not mean the couple was linked to ISIS, Chesley said.
The FBI says it is investigating the incident as a terrorist attack, partly because of internet postings that suggest a connection to radical Islam.
“We have uncovered evidence that has led us to learn of extensive planning”, the assistant Federal Bureau of Investigation director in charge of the Los Angeles office, David Bowdich, told reporters.
President Barack Obama, for his part, acknowledged in his weekly address Saturday that the attackers may have become radicalized but vowed that the United States “will not be terrorized”.
Comey said that, so far, there are no indications the two suspects were part of a broader terror cell, and that the two suspects hadn’t been previously on the FBI’s radar.

The couple’s orphaned six-month-old daughter is in the care of child protective services, and the family will try to obtain custody her next week.
On Thursday, Abuershaid said: “The family are in complete shock”.
A change came over Tashfeen Malik two or three years ago.
“The wild card here is the wife Malik”, said McCaul, who said that investigators were also investigating where they got the money to acquire the guns.
“There’s a serious investigation ongoing into what she was doing in Pakistan and in Saudi”, U.S. Representative Michael McCaul said on “Fox News Sunday”.
