Coroner identifies 14 San Bernardino shooting victims
Numerous victims had children – one was engaged to be married. He loved his work and his family so very much.

To those of you have Nicholas Thalasinos, he was lost in that shooting in San Bernardino yesterday. The couple had two children.
“There is no reason for evilness”, Arlen Verdehyou said in an interview. He said he had withdrawn money from the bank to do some Christmas shopping. “She’s home with one of our other kids”.
Her family had to wait eight hours to see her as she underwent surgery and then was whisked to the intensive-care unit, Nick Paez said.
His friend Kuuleme Stephens said she did not know whether those debates were a factor in the attack.
Following his death, Jessica said that she is taking comfort in her faith.
She was an inspector for the San Bernardino County Health Department.
After the shooting, Nicholas Thalasinos’ Facebook page was flooded with expressions of condolence and grief, with many posts memorializing him with Kaddish, the Jewish prayer for the dead. “I am a creative individual with a fun outlook on life. Who would think it would happen to us?”
“He wanted to serve the Lord and bring more people to the Lord”, Thalasinos said. “She was a super, super lady”. “The job of a sanitary inspector is certainly not the most glamorous of professions”.
“She’s a really strong-willed, tough woman”, he said. Stephens listened in, receiving periodic commentary from her pal.
Godoy, 26, was the youngest victim. Perez writes that Meins spent 28 years working for the county, and that he had just recently started working for Riverside County Environmental Health. Kaufman had worked at the center for about five years. Survived by his boyfriend, Ryan Reyes, according to the Los Angeles Times. “Call me ASAP!” he texted, with no reply. There was no reply. Reyes received conflicting reports about Kaufman all day, ultimately learning he was killed. She said she was a relative of Amanios.
Both shooters were killed in the gun battle, officials said. His coworkers also found out this morning.
“His death has affected our community deeply”.
A deputy director of the environmental health department, Damian Meins, 58, was also killed.
On her own page, Sierra Clayborn had just written that she loved her “blooming career” in public and environmental health.
Tin Nguyen, 31, of Santa Ana, a native of Vietnam and a food inspector.
“Michael was the most awesome person”, Renee Wetzel wrote on the Church of the Woods website.
“She had a big heart and loved Disneyland”, the newspaper quoted her mother-in-law, Janice Henson, as saying.
Berhe – who grew up in San Bernardino – also posted a map to his Twitter account Wednesday as the attack was unfolding showing the close proximity of his parents’ office building to the IRC.
Nicholas Thalasinos, 52, was a “devout believer” and Messianic Jew, his wife Jennifer told the Los Angeles Times.
They met online 14 years ago on opposite sides of the country. “She goes, ‘there’s a massive shooting'”. “That’s what’s so shocking”.
The couple were Messianic Jews, his wife said.
CNN’s Gary Tuchman gave widow Jennifer Thalasinos the third degree asking if her husband evangelized to Farook and if his comments about radical Muslims could have played a role in the killings.
“If he would have…my husband would have had something to say”.
He has two adult sons.
Yvette Velasco, 27. Velasco had three sisters.
Thalasinos and Farook were colleagues at the San Bernardino County Health Department.
– Michael Wetzel, 37, of Lake Arrowhead. His distraught wife, Renee Wetzel has nothing but kind words for his husband.
“The man could have a 30-minute conversation with a cashier about his cats… and I would literally have to pull him away”, he said. “Please please pray that he is ok”.
Daniel Kaufman, 42, of Rialto: Kaufman was one of the few victims who did not work with Farook.
He spent seven years coaching boys’ and girls’ soccer.
