West Ham waiting on Moses injury scan
Manchester United are 4/9 with Sky Bet to continue their solid home form this season with three points against West Ham (13/2).
Chris Smalling revealed, after Manchester United’s goalless draw versus West Ham at Old Trafford, that himself and his United team-mates shares the fans frustration, and felt the team dominated the game but didn’t get what they deserved.
However, they start the weekend just one point behind league leaders City and face three sides in the bottom half of the table before Christmas.
Smalling said the players shared the fans’ pain and conceded those who paid good money to be in the stands at Old Trafford were entitled to air their frustrations.
Martial, now without a goal in eight league outings, had fewer touches than any other United outfield player against the Hammers (46), perhaps attributable to the lack of support from his midfielders.
“If we keep creating chances, we are confident sooner rather than later they will go in”. We had the best chances of the first half and should have been in front.
West Ham moved up to sixth on the Premier League standings as a result of the goalless draw, while United dropped down to fourth.
“Without Sakho, Lanzini and Payet West Ham were going to have to defend well and Reid was absolutely fantastic”, he told Match of the Day.
“I can’t blame the officials no matter how disappointed we are”.
It is a bitter blow for the east Londoners who had striker Diafra Sakho ruled out last week for up to three months.
And manager Slaven Bilic said: “We have to wait for a scan on Victor”.
